Idalia Montañez, Psy.D.

Dr. Idalia Montañez has practiced psychology for over 20 years. She holds an APA-accredited doctorate in clinical psychology and is licensed to practice in Washington state and Florida. In her practice with injured workers, she integrates Western, evidence-based psychological methods with a framework guided by the wisdom of ancient Eastern philosophical principles. She generally approaches the therapeutic relationship from an orientation that could be described as collaborative and mindfulness-based, informed by her years of personal meditation practice.

Víctor Meléndez, M.A., M.Ed.

Víctor is Dr. Montañez's "invisible helper." He trained as an industrial/organizational psychologist and has years of experience as a university instructor of psychological statistics. He is also a visual artist, with works in European and U.S.-American collections. A lover of languages, he is currently a student of Italian, the language of Dante and Petrarca, Verdi and Puccini.
